Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it has successfully passed and received its IOSA Renewal Certification this year. This marks the tenth time the carrier has successfully achieved this renewal. The National carrier’s first certification was obtained in 2006.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles has today welcomed its first flight from Almaty, linking the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan to the paradisiacal islands of the Seychelles.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, will be launching a new route this December with twice weekly flights between Almaty, Kazakhstan and Mahe, Seychelles. The seasonal service begins 26 December and will operate until 27 March, 2023.

Air Seychelles today achieved another important milestone in its flights between Israel and Seychelles. The carrier became the first airline to receive permission from the Saudi Arabian authorities to overfly their territory on flights between the two countries.

As travel restrictions' eases globally and with the school holidays in the Seychelles starting soon, Air Seychelles Ground Services is expected to witness a peak in travel this upcoming Easter holiday until the end of April 2022.

Air Seychelles together with Tourism Seychelles has recently participated in OTM, India’s most international gathering involving travel trade buyers and tourism professionals from India and across Asia.

Featuring more than 50 countries, 1500 trade visitors and over 1000 exhibitors, the annual event held in the busiest financial city, Mumbai, proceeded between 16 and 18 March, 2022.

Earlier this month, leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, chartered an Air Seychelles’ Airbus A320neo to fly the victorious Toyota Gazoo Racing Dakar Team back to Johannesburg, following the climax of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.

To meet the gradual demand from the South African market, Air Seychelles will start to offer travelers two flights per week between Johannesburg and the Seychelles, from 3 February, 2022.

Air Seychelles fleet of seven aircraft comprising two Airbus A320neos and five DHC-6 Twin Otter-400 series, with an average age of 4.3 years, has been ranked as the third youngest fleet in Africa by ch-aviation.
