Planning a trip to the Seychelles?
Depending on the location, Seychelles’ beaches usually allow for ample space. You can have the beach all for yourself, your family or even a romantic lunch or dinner your partner. In addition, the Seychellois people will make you feel so at ease that it will be as if you are still at home.
If you’re looking to hit the beach first thing in the morning, rest assured that the beach next to your hotel is not privately-owned, making it accessible to all. However, do bear in mind that some beaches are distant due to the remote location of the smaller islands. You will therefore have to travel by boat or with the help of a guide.
You can find other activities ranging from kayaking, pedal boating and windsurfing. For water skiing and jet skiing, you will have to travel to Beau Vallon on Mahé. Located in the north of Mahé, Beau Vallon beach differs completely from the wide sandy beaches. If you are looking for a more intimate experience, why not visit Anse Georgette beach on Praslin?
To be safe, it is recommended that you inquire before swimming in case of adverse weather conditions or similar. From April to October, it is discouraged to paddle on several beaches of La Digue due to pounding waves.
