Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, today launched a twice-per-week service to Antananarivo, the bustling capital of Madagascar.

The inaugural flight, HM 755, touched down at Ivato International Airport at 10:55 am, becoming the island carrier’s fourth point in its Indian Ocean and Africa network, after Dar es Salaam, Johannesburg and Mauritius.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, yesterday marked the start of its twice-weekly service to Dar es Salaam, the economic and cultural centreof Tanzania.

The island carrier’s first passenger flight – HM777 – touched down on schedule at Julius Nyerere International Airport, marking a major newstep in its regional expansion to East Africa.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, today announced it has signed a codeshare agreement with Alitalia, Italy’s leading airline.

The new deal will allow customers from both airlines to fly between Rome, Milan and Venice to Seychelles via Abu Dhabi, with just one ticket for their entire journey.

Air Seychelles has taken delivery of two new DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 400 aircraft from Viking Air Limited of Canada.

The new aircraft will be used for services between Mahé and Praslin, as well as other islands in the Seychelles archipelago, including Bird, Denis and Frégate.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has recommenced flights to Paris from its home base in the Seychelles after a gap of two and half years.

Greeted by a traditional water cannon salute on arrival, inaugural flight HM018 touched down on schedule at the French capital’s Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport at 7:45am local time today.
