Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will operate a special flight from Seychelles to Mauritius on Tuesday, 8 September, 2020 to provide Mauritian citizens the opportunity to return to their home.

Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will continue to work closely with the Seychelles Indian High Commission (HCI), to operate additional flights to Ahmedabad and Mumbai, following demand from the local market.

Air Seychelles will operate an additional service to Ahmedabad and Mumbai on 2 September, 2020 to provide Indian citizens the opportunity to return to their home.

Air Seychelles, in collaboration with the Seychelles Indian High Commission (HCI), is planning to operate an additional service to Chennai in the month of August, to facilitate the travel of Indian citizens to their home.

Air Seychelles has today announced that with the resumption of commercial passenger services on 1 August 2020, a comprehensive set of new ground handling measures has been implemented at the Seychelles International Airport.

Air Seychelles will be operating an additional flight to Ahmedabad and Mumbai on Saturday, 8 August 2020, to provide Indian citizens the opportunity to return to their home.

Air Seychelles has issued a new guideline for passengers travelling across the airline’s international network in preparation for the resumption of commercial passenger services, ahead of the reopening of the Seychelles International Airport on 1 August, 2020.

Air Seychelles together with the support of key stakeholders, has today conducted an exercise to test the new procedures and measures to be implemented at the Seychelles International Airport for passengers, ahead of the resumption of commercial flights to the Seychelles.

Air Seychelles has today announced that as from next week the airline will start to operate special passenger flights from Seychelles to India, providing Indian citizens the opportunity to return to their home.

The flights set to take place between 20 and 30 July 2020, will be operated to three cities across India including Chennai, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Air Seychelles is working closely with the High Commission of India and the Department of Foreign Affairs to plan a series of special flights to key cities in India including Ahmedabad, Cochin, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.

Air Seychelles will be operating a twice per week service from Seychelles to Dubai International Airport throughout the month of July only.

The flights scheduled every Tuesdays and Saturdays will allow guests travelling beyond Dubai the chance to connect onto the Emirates Airlines network to over 52 destinations.

Air Seychelles will be operating two special additional flights to Dubai International Airport to allow stranded visitors traveling to the United Arab Emirates, Europe, United States of America and Asia the opportunity to return to their home.

Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will be operating special passenger flights to Dubai and Johannesburg to return stranded UAE nationals and residents as well as South African nationals to their home. The national airline will also be operating a special flight to Doha for stranded visitors travelling to Europe and Asia only.

Air Seychelles is working closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs to plan a series of inbound flights in the upcoming weeks, to return Seychellois nationals as well as non-Seychellois residents with permanent residence status in Seychelles, stranded across the airlines’ network and at connecting hubs to the Seychelles.

Air Seychelles will introduce a new baggage policy on its domestic network, effective Monday, 1 June, 2020.

The new baggage structure to be implemented for travel between Mahé and Praslin, will now be based on the total weight concept instead of the number of bags being checked-in.

Air Seychelles, has today announced that the airline has started to increase its domestic services between Mahé and Praslin following demand from the local market.

To provide residents more choice and convenience, the airline is now offering more travel options on the popular interisland route all days throughout the week.

To streamline its domestic operations in adopting with the new normal, as a preventive measure against COVID-19, and following guidance from the Department of Health, Air Seychelles has started to implement several new procedures for guests travelling between Mahe and Praslin.

Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will continue to offer cargo services amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic to ensure medical supplies and essential commodities in the Seychelles are adequately met.

Air Seychelles has today announced that the airline will resume its domestic operations between Mahe and Praslin, effective Monday, 4 May 2020, following the removal of all restrictions on the movement of Seychellois citizens due to COVID-19.

The airline will operate two roundtrips per day between Mahe and Praslin, a convenient morning and late afternoon flight in both directions.
