The flights have been scheduled from Friday 14 to Monday 17 August, providing an additional 714 seats, to facilitate travel for residents and tourists wishing to attend the annual religious celebration.

Roy Kinnear, Chief Executive Officer of Air Seychelles said: “The Feast of Assumption is an important cultural event in the national calendar that attracts hundreds of people every year.

“We are delighted to meet the high travel demand for the festival, especially from residents of Mahé, by operating 21 additional flights.

“These flights are quick, taking only 15 minutes on our modern Twin Otter aircraft, and have been conveniently timed for the mid to late afternoon on both days.”
