Air Seychelles bade farewell to one of its longest serving pilots and aviation pioneer, Captain Francois Jackson on Thursday 17 August 2023 as he touched down at the Seychelles International Airport for the last time on his final flight HM048 from Mauritius. The flight was greeted by a traditional water cannon salute in honour of Captain Jackson for his many years of service.

In a short ceremony held at the School for the Exceptional Child yesterday, Friday 14th July 2023, members of the Air Seychelles Tourism Club handed over the keys to a sensory room they had put together to the Head Teacher, Mrs Heidi Francourt.

Members from the Technical Operations Department at Air Seychelles were paid a courtesy call from the visiting CINEC delegation on Wednesday 07 June, at the national airline’s head office in Pointe Larue.

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, will be launching a new route this December with twice weekly flights between Almaty, Kazakhstan and Mahe, Seychelles. The seasonal service begins 26 December and will operate until 27 March, 2023.
